Is just all around at the minute. I really like his style and seems to do alot of interetsting and varoed stuff in his DJ sets. Check out his soundcloud for a free download and some other mixes. This one is particularly good. Can see him being one to watch in 2010.

EL-B Latin Mix

EL-B has done a mix of Columbian music which has popped up on Soundcloud. Not really sure what is it connected to but its a cool mix for winter time. There is also a link to his Wire magazine interview.

Its pretty different but you can hear the influence coming through with every tune.

Free garage

Just stumbled across this blog while looking through the Future Garage Forum. Its from a guy called Duncan Powell who has hosted alot of free music of his own. I have downloaded 3 or 4 tunes and the quality is great with lots of skippy garage number and 4x4 stuff. Its a pretty interesting idea and when the music is as good as it is, its definitely worth checking out.

Imprint This On Your Mind has done a special Podcast with De-Twist and Nez doing 3 10 minute mixes back to back. The gig itself is this Saturday 12th at the Menagerie and is a bargain £3 before 10.30pm and £5 after.

Thanks...and heres to year 3

Thanks to all who came down and had fun at our birthday on Friday night. It was great to celebrate with you all. Special thanks to Dee who really got into his role as MC! There are a few photos up, which make us all look very serious and superstar like, especially this one.

Our next one is the 12th of December with Nez and Boxcutter. It should be a great one. We are all on a strict regime of 6am jogs and hi-carb diets. Shall be bloodied noses a plenty!

We are 2!!!

Yep! We have reached the grand old age of 2. We are nearly toilet trained, able to run around and repeat the same words over and over again.

The birthday will be on the 20th of November at the Menagerie. We have kept it to a residents night as the last one we did in August was great fun for all of us. Its a measly 3 quid before 10.30 and an equally measly £5 after.

We hope to see you down for a chance to say thanks for helping us make the night what it is. Warm up Tune

Falty DL

Few albums this year have blown me away more than Falty DL's Love Is a Liability on Planet Mu. Its a great combination of all things garage, techno, dub and electronic.

He has done a mix for Fact magazine which is only available for 3 weeks so get moving! I havent heard it yet but based on the tracklist alone, its should be a great listen.
